This is the online portfolio of Jerry Liu.

Jerry is an independent art-director, designer, 2D animator, and compositor. In 2000 he moved to New York City to study
graphic design and motion graphics at the School of Visual Arts. During his attendance at SVA his work was showcased and
screened at the Art Director's Club on several occasions. After earning his degree in graphic design, he spent 2 years
working as a senior designer/animator at Comedy Central where his work won numerous BDA awards. He then proceeded
to spend the next several years working as a freelance art-director, designer, and animator for studios such as Hornet, Psyop,
Eyeball, Transistor Studios, Brand New School, and Alien Kung Fu just to name a few. A desire to move back to his
hometown brought him back to Maryland where he spent about a year and a half working as art-director for Discovery
Creative, handling clients such as Science Channel, Discovery Channel, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC, and
several other networks under the Discovery Communications umbrella.

He now works independently as a vendor and freelance artist for hire, currently based out of the Washington DC
metropolitan area. Creating work for television, film, commercials, video games, music videos, web, and interactive media,
Jerry brings diversity as well as a high level of quality to his work.
